New Tool kit and freebie

My daughter and I have been talking about doing a building kit because the men in our family like to build things or tear things apart. So I started to put together some ideas for the men in our family. Then I realized that we build so much more than things, my husband is building relationships, building trust, building bonds, and most of all building memories that his children and grandchildren will always remember. So I kept that in mind as I created a fun tool kit to represent all the ways my husband builds memories in our family. Here is a page I created using this kit:

Mother's Day coming up

I decided to make a page for Mother's Day with my new Mother's Day kit. Kind of appropriate, don't you think? I wouldn't use the Father's Day kit for Mother's Day, I guess. haha Sooo, I thought who have been the most important mother's in my life. I had to include my grandmothers. I miss them around in my life as they were wonderful grandmothers. Then my own mother and my mother-in-law who taught me how to bake bread and be a good mother to my children.

At the bottom is me and my children....many years ago. My daughters are all mothers now and they are so much better mothers than I was. I am so pleased with the way they raise their children. I call this page generations of mothers because all the females in the picture either were mothers (when they were alive) or are currently mothers.

New Blog train

Hi all! It has been awhile since I have been around. I have been working on setting up a new website and I was hoping to have it up and running by now, but alas, things have gone slower than I have planned. My new website is CraftyDigitalDesigns.com and we should be up and running by the end of March. Lots of fun things are coming! I will let you know as soon as it is up.

For now, I have created a kit for the new LDS blogtrain. It is based on President Hinckley's 6 Be's; Be Clean, Be Grateful, Be Humble, Be Smart, Be True, Be Prayful. It has been fun and I have enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy today's freebie. Here is my part:

Pretty in Pink

Melody was kind enough to send me pictures of Ellie so that I could make a Pink page for her. So I made a pink flowered background, a pink flowered and eyelet frame and a bow to match. Of course nothing is quite as cute as Ellie. Now if my other kids will send me current pictures of their cuties, I will make pages for them too. :o)
